finally in my new home and it looks as if i'll be here for awhile

at first i was reluctant to come live with my sister but i think things are turning around!

....why?

because my piece 'Snayl Ryder' was one of those chosen for this year's On My Own Time Exhibit at the Everson Museum!! yaya!

I am rather pleased! The show goes up in November so I'll be waiting for that!! I worked much harder on my pieces this year after last year's dismal failure! I personally thought they might pick one of the others but no complaints!

...and.. at my new home i have a 'new' art desk that was my sister's old drafting table and i have space for my new easel!! i also tossed a lot of useless junk and i think that helps clear your mind when you do that...

oh.. and i'm going to start painting sets for appleseed theatre when i get back from vacation and getting $paid$ for it! not much but a start! we'll be working on a roman play so, since i'm into the whole greek art/culture, i'm pretty psyched, its not a too different.. and i need the experience!

it has been such a.. rollercoaster..(aka hell) since last summer but i'm hoping i can crawl out of this rotten funk and get back on whatever crazy track i'm supposed to be on..

ah now to figure out how to arrange my room.. that alone is exciting..!
